Lisa Kwon, after B.A in Chinese language and literature at Sungshin Women’s Univ., completed the International Convention management course at Ewha Womans University to begin her career in the international convention industry where she could make good use of her linguistic sense in Chinese and English as well as her active and meticulous nature. During the course, she successfully led the 50th anniversary event of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea with her outstanding performance and leadership, and naturally made a debut in the international convention industry. Afterwards, by the recommendation of an industrial business leader ‘EZPMP’, she was in charge of planning the ICELE executive committee meeting hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and led it excellently.
she contributed herself to promote Seoul city’s environmental preservation plan and 'cheonggye stream restoration project' to the mayors of major cities around the world through this project.

Based on these careers, she joined Marcus Evans Group (www.marcusevans.com), a multinational company headquartered in the United Kingdom, where she ran events for various industries as a person in charge of Korean market marketing and convention management, enhancing her international sense and understanding of each industry group. Community building and supervisory management are one of important considerations for any organization. In these regards, her main function at the Marcus Evans was operations management of company business conferences and training courses for corporates. This role involved close co-operation among all external channels and internal departments, ensuring all events secured the company best value with high quality of service. It involved acting as brand ambassador, understanding the brand differentiator in the marketplace and the unique value proposition, and conveying this to the all delegates, partners and sponsors.
She was honored by being selected as an excellent employee in Asia Pacific for her outstanding performance, and was later recommanded to the Korean Academy of Sciences and Technology (www.kast.or.kr) in Korea, the eminent scienists’s organization in Korea, where she successfully launched an international academic exchange program Inter-academy Seoul Science forum with Nobel Prize winners and prestigious scholar all around world. It is a very new international academic interchange program. So, a new scientist community was set up and she took a role of connector between members. In this regard, she contributed herself to build a community that has a uniform vision. While she manages various projects targeting high-level audiences and professional leaders in multi-cultural circumstances, focused not only on project management, budget control but also on marketing and providing hospitality services. Through the convention business, she has improved knowledge of programming, marketing, providing high-quality hospitality services, and building relationships with the people concerned. Since 2012, she has been working in a Science & Technology organization under the government and developing academic exchange programs across generations.

Since 2021, she has served as co-CEO of a woodworking and metal art studio (www.cusi.kr), collaborating with her spouse, who combines practical industry experience with academic expertise, while leading overall operations including content planning, marketing, and administration.
CUSI was commissioned to create and install a 10-meter interactive metal sculpture for the “2024 Seoul Winter Festa.” As the project manager, she directly experienced how public sculptures can function as cultural content that fosters citizen engagement and attracts tourism.
